Who is Shop for a Cause? 

Shop for a Cause was founded in 2021 with the mission of leading a generation toward generosity. Based on that simple mission, we started creating apparel, and accessories that donate a percentage of the profits of each item sold to charitable causes. Each product is designed to spark conversation and support a different cause. We regularly change the causes we support and each product supports only one cause at a time - therefore the amount of money raised for a charity is dependent on the number of sales each product receives. 

Is Shop for a Cause a charity? 

We are not a charity! The work we do supports other charities and goodwill causes by donating a percentage of our profits from items sold. We are not affiliated with any of the charities we support. 

What quality are Shop for a Cause's products, and how do they support my values?

We print on high-quality apparel that is WRAP (Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production) Certified. We choose our suppliers based on their sustainability credits, putting beliefs before business. All our products are printed on order and shipped in 100% plastic-free packaging. We pride ourselves in the quality of our products and have tested multiple suppliers for both fabrics, print and sustainability before adding them as our approved t-shirt providers. We will continue to run tests throughout the year to ensure that our products always meet our demands. 

Can I exchange my apparel for another size?

Because we individually print each order we only accept exchanges or returns if the product is faulty in any way. We offer a replacement product or a refund (minus the charity donations).

What is your positivity policy?

Our mission is to help raise funding, awareness and followers for good causes. Sometimes certain people don’t like certain things about great non-profits. That is what it is. We all value different kinds of good work in the world in our own ways, and with our own unique preferences. At Shop for a Cause, we are committed to highlighting good words about good work, rather than creating a staging area for people to post things that might reflect a “glass half empty” approach to the work our partners are doing. It’s what we call our Positivity Policy. How much does shipping cost?

Absolutely nothing! 100% free shipping on all orders within the UK! 

*At the moment we do not ship outside the UK, but we are working on this!

Clothing items such as t-shirts and hoodies are folded neatly into bags; to save on packing materials and reduce waste we do not pack items into individual bags before they are shipped in the mail. Our paper postal mailing bags are manufactured from responsible, sustainable sources to comply with FSC certi­fica­tion. The paper is both compostable and degradable, and paper mailers can be easily recycled, making this an extremely eco-friendly option. The weather-proof parcel protects its contents during transit.

 

If I order multiple products, do they ship in one package?

we aim to avoid multiple shipments for one order where possible. Depending on a few factors, including the size and number of items ordered, your order may be shipped in multiple packages. 

 

How long does it take for my order to arrive?

We’re committed to getting your order to you as soon as possible, so as soon as your order comes through, we go straight to work. First, we process the order — we do the fundamental backend stuff and prep the pieces needed to print your shirts. Then we print. We make every shirt to order, so sometimes this step might take a couple of days, depending on the volume of orders. We want to get you the best items and make sure everything is just how you want it. From there, we package your order with love and send it on its way to you.

Our production time, from the date of order, until it’s in the post and on its way to you, is on average seven (7) business days.
